Special Christmas & Holiday Greetings to My Fellow Southern Pots Fans!

This pottery offering update is strong as usual in some contemporary potters, such as Billy Ray Hussey, Stacy Lambert, and the usual nice selection from the CV (i.e. Charlie, Walter, Steve, Michel, & Mike Ball). Also I have added a monumental Earl and other neat Catawba Indian Pottery. Even a bit of Cherokee. The GA collectors have not been neglected, as there is a nice decorated set of Clint Jugs. And an incredible Mud Creek Rooster.

For the antique collector, there’s an awesome Harvey Reinhardt (attr) swirl mug, and a beautiful LSR (attr) 5 G 2 Handle Jug.

I am most proud of a Face Jar now offered on southernpots.com, turned by my potter friend Chad Smith. Brian Demond, Jason Harpe, and Dawn Crouse, hosted the unveiling of their newly published book, Valley Ablaze: Pottery Tradition in the Catawba Valley, this past Sunday in Lincolnton, NC. Brian chose this face jar, amongst other Chad pots, to be featured in the section about Chad.

Also I will note, that a second potter, Matt Hallyburton, that has been represented on the website, was accepted for the first time this past March into our favorite pottery festival in Hickory (i.e. CV Pottery Festival and also the largest & most prestigious southern pottery festival in the country). He sold quite well and I have a real eye-appealing 2 Handle Saddle Jug by Matt available for you. He employed Burlon’s glass glaze on the jug.

Re: shipping before Christmas, I know this is short notice, but please touch base with me today or tomorrow. The best way would be to send me an email if there was some additional special request or question. Also re: checkout, I would prefer that either you use Paypal, or you can drop me a check in the mail (i.e. please send me an email if that is preferred). You can use your CC with my website designer’s checkout system, but I can’t then turn around as quickly and tap those funds to seek other special southern pots for you!

Cool Snake Bank Even w/ # 75 I was still able to grab this wonderful Eagle! Got to have a devil or two too! I am thinking Moravian! Joe & Brinkley-love her to death!!! Joe w/ 2 of his 3 takehomes! Also a frog! Just another cool Michel pot! Kris & Brinkley! Kris, Brian, and 10 wk old daughter Brinkley, me, Stacy, and Barry Michel did such an incredible on his home!
